Fitted Furniture , Finish Carpentry and Storage Units for Every Room in Your Home
Walk In Wardrobes as a bedroom storage option have become ever more popular in recent years as they can be a fashionable and stylish alternative to the more traditional hinged door wrdrobe.
Generally speaking there are two categories of Walk In Wardrobe, those which are built-in to or hidden in a seperate room off the main bedroom and those which are clearly visible from the main bedroom and act as a feature of the room rather than a seperate storage area.
In terms of design and layout there will be very little difference between the two categories of Walk In Wardrobe, the main difference being that Walk In Wardrobes that are hidden from view are generally constructed from more economical white or cream coloured melamine panells whereas Walk In Wardrobes that are visible from the main bedroom and acting as a feature of the room are usually constructed from coloured panells - usually but not always a natural wood coloured panell.
A feature of Walk In Wardrobes is that they dont have doors. All of your belongings or clothes can be seen at a glance without the need to open and close or walk around wardrobe doors.
A run of full height wardrobe doors in any bedroom can have the effect of making the room look or feel smaller. This effect is hugely reduced with Walk In Wardrobes as you can see right into them and so appreciate the full size of your room.
Walk in wardrobes that are constructed from more economical white or cream coloured melamine panells offer a huge cost saving over standard fitted wardrobes as they don't need doors, hinges or handles.
