Choosing Your Fitted Kitchen

The kitchen is one of the most important rooms in any home. Whether cooking a favourite meal, dining with family or simply sitting and chatting with friends a great deal of time is spent in the kitchen. With this in mind it is obviously very important that your kitchen is a nice and comfortable room to live in. A well designed and well built kitchen will look good, function very well and last for years. It goes without saying that when choosing your kitchen, whether refurbishing your current one or building new, a great deal of consideration needs to be given to the design and layout so that the end result is a kitchen that you will enjoy spending your time in. The main points to consider when choosing a new kitchen are outlined further down this page.

Kitchen Worktops

Choose from natural stone, solid woods, modern composites or laminate worktops.

Kitchen Appliances

Choice of appliances can be very much a personal thing. If space is limited the size of some appliances may need to be considered. Some appliances such as fridge freezers, dishwashers and microwaves are available as integrated or non-integrated.

Kitchen Accessories

There are many innovative accessories available for modern kitchens which can greatly add to the functionality of the kitchen. Some examples are pull out larders, pull out bins and soft close drawer boxes. There are many others however and choosing the right ones is an important part of the kitchen design process.
