Solid Wood Kitchen Doors

Solid Wood Kitchen Doors are made entirely from solid woods. This is done by glueing strips of the chosen wood together to form panells and frames which then have various patterns and moldings routed onto them. The solid wood door is then sanded and laquered to give a beautiful and long lasting finish. The main advantage of choosing solid wood for your kitchen doors or any cabinet doors for that matter is that they last longer than other door types. Also solid wood kitchen doors can usually be repaired quite easily if they are scratched or damaged by simply sanding back the damaged area and re-laquering the door. The only disadvantage in choosing solid wood for your kitchen doors would be the cost - they are more expensive than the other door types.
